Connor Nelson is inspired by film and its visual qualities: color, contrast, noise, and sharpness and tends to emulate this digitally. Part of the process he finds captivating is searching and taking the time to actually pay attention to your surroundings that may otherwise be looked past. He takes an organic approach to photographing portraits, still life, and landscapes.
He is a travel enthusiast. Photos with good stories behind them are much more interesting, for instance, traveling is very compelling because there are many moments to be caught with new places, people, and experiences.
